Willie Front and Back

Good Morning and welcome to another Wednesday, my day to post for One Crazy Stamper.  The card I have to show you today was a new technique I learned using a line of stamps from Art Impressions called "Fronts and Backs".  This card took me a long time to figure out as I have never done scenery before so I proceeded to find a suitable tree and tutorial on how to make clouds.  I am still not as impressed with this as I thought I would be but it will do until I have more time to try it again.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Good Morning.  A quick post with a special card as it is my Mom's birthday today.  I am working, coming home to tidy up a bit, ice cupcakes and then taking my parents for supper tonight with dessert at my house.  I enjoyed the triple stamping technique that I showed you on my Christmas card so much that I decided to try it on the card I made for my Mom's birthday.

inside:

I don't have my usual list of supplies for this card ~ the paper came from my scrap bin, the ribbon, twine and flowers came from my stash and a long time ago I put all my clear stamps in CD cases (I was not stamping or card making much then) so I am not sure where the flower stamps came from.  Both my sentiments are new though and are available at One Crazy Stamper.  The outside sentiment is from High Hopes.  The inside is a new set from Whimsy Stamps.

Thanks for dropping by today.  I am off to get my day started but will be back tomorrow with my design post for One Crazy Stamper blog.  It is a totally different style for me and you won't want to miss it.

Take care, my friends and have a GREAT day!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!!!

7 Months til Christmas Blog Hop

Good Morning.  I hope you are having a great weekend so far.  I sure am ~ I get to spend some time away from work.  Welcome to our monthly blog hop where our wonderful design team showcases two projects for Christmas following the monthly theme.  This month our theme is "Festive Flowers".  If you have arrived here from Shari's blog you are in the correct spot.  If you just happened to come by and visit me today, go back to Shari's blog to start at the beginning of our hop.  The order for this hop is a little smaller than sometimes as some of our regulars had other commitments this month.  Two quick things ~ congratulations to Tara on the birth of her son and a heartfelt goodbye to Kerry as she leaves our team due to other commitments in her life.

Okay, enough chatting.  Here are my two "Festive Flowers" cards.  I went extremely traditional this month.

Inspire......and Add Flowers

Happy May 1st.  I can not believe how fast this year is flying by.  Because it is the start of a new month it is also the start of a new challenge at One Crazy Stamper.  Our challenge for the month of May is to use flowers.  I use a lot of flowers on my cards whether as embellishments or part of my stamps so I also wanted to make this a challenge for myself.  As I was commenting on a challenge entry for a Design Team I came across a tutorial on how to make a type of flower.  My inspiration for my card came from HERE where Desire shows you how to make them.

And here is my take on it:
