Rainbow Apples for the Teacher

Good Morning.  It is Friday and I am sure many of you are looking forward to the weekend.  I was off the past two days and have very long shifts to work over the next few days so no weekend excitement here this time.

Two of my niece's children are finishing school next week ~ one is graduating from preschool and one is graduating from Kindergarten.  Way to go B and C!!!  Aunt Heather is proud of you.  My niece asked me to make cards for each of their teachers.  She needed five so after talking it over we came up with a 3" x 3" notecard set that the kids could write their own message in (with a little help from Mom).  I used the same layout for each just a different colour of the rainbow:

And each one has a matching envelope:

RECIPE:
Card Stock ~ Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ Creative Memories
(All paper used was from my scrap bin)
Cricut ~ Paisley cartridge Apple cut at 1 1/4" real dial size
Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
Stamps ~ Peachy Keen Everyday Face Assortment
~ My Pink Stamper "Everyday Occasions" (Thank you)
Buttons ~ Michael's $1.50 bin
Twine ~ American Crafts
Martha Stewart Scoreboard (for matching envelopes)

I hope the teachers enjoy their cards along with the small gifts they are getting.  I had fun with this set and may do more in the future.

Thanks for coming by again today.  It makes my day to see who visits and leaves me comments.  Have a great weekend.  And, keep crafting!
