Little Red Wagon Challenge #343 ~ Round and Round

Good morning.  It's that time of week again for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Mandy and her theme is ROUND AND ROUND.  She wants to see circles on your project.  Now I guess this could also be a circular project :)

My card uses a stamp and sentiments from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called "A Purr-fect Day".  Paper and enamel dots are Simple Stories Let's Party.  This was fun to colour as I wanted to make this kitty look realistic with fur.  I added circles with my Creative Memories circle cutter and placed them behind the image.

Why not come on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made with circles and join us with a circle project of your own!

Have a great day.

PDE Linky Party ~ Always Anything Goes

Good Friday morning.  I hope you are looking forward to the coming weekend.  I know I sure am as it is a long weekend for me so I get three days to do my chores and errands which will leave time to play in my craft room.

It's my turn this month to post a project at PDE Linky Party.  This week it is still an ANYTHING GOES Challenge but coming up in July there will be a change up and weekly themes are coming back :)

A few weeks ago one of my staff were leaving to pursue a career in a different direction and this is the card I made for her.  Stamp is Mini Yippee Fhionna from Your Next Stamp coloured with Copics.  Sentiment is from the $1.50 bin at Michaels and had not been used before.  Paper is Carpe Diem by Simple Stories.

So why not take some time to be creative and come join us and link up a project of your own at PDE Linky Party.  It's all for fun and you may just get picked as a "Party Pick" favourite.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #342 ~ Blooming Fun

Hey there.  Yep, another Wednesday.  Another new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This time our hostess is Donna and her theme is BLOOMING FUN.  She wants to see flowers on your project.

Lots of flowers on this card. I used a stamp from High Hopes called Happy Sunflowers and turned them into fun daisies coloured with Copic markers.  Who can resist those cute little smiles???  Patterned paper is Doodlebug Springtime.  Embossing folder is called Baby's Breath.  And I used paper flowers to add to the theme.

And a close up of the flowers:

Come on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made for inspiration and add a flower project of your own.

As always, have an incredible day!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #341 ~ Let's Hear It For The Boys!

Hello my friends and happy Wednesday.  Before I begin my official blog entry I want to give a BIG shout out to my Mom and Dad who have been married 59 years today.  Congratulations and all my love!

Okay, back to the business at hand, and because it is Wednesday there is a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our challenge for you this week ~ LET"S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS! Our hostess is Brenda and as the next "card" holiday approaching is Father's Day she wants to see projects for men/boys.  Always a challenging one for someone like me who likes to use lots of flowers and bling. :)

My card is a simple masculine birthday card featuring a retired image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and paper from Echo Park Jack and Jill.  Image is coloured with Copics.

Happy Mother's Day

Good Morning.  Today I have a special card and gift box to share that I made for my Mom for Mother's Day.  It uses the Spring Wreath stamp set and Wonderful Wreath framlits from Stampin' Up.  It's been coloured using my Copics.  Other supplies include Darice wood grain embossing folder, Your Next Stamp Fish Tail/Banner die set, Tim Holtz distress inks in Vintage Photo and Tea Dye and enamel dots from Simple Stories Rad collection.  I was pleased with the way all these different supplies came together for the finished look but it did take a long time to do.  Glad my Mom is worth it!! LOL!!!!!

The Gift Box:

Seriously, my Mom is incredible at almost 81 years young and she has always been there for me no matter what.  She is a great example of a Godly woman and prayer warrior.  She encourages me in my endeavours and kicks me in the butt when I need it too. We laugh together, cry together, get excited together and if you ask our husbands, get extremely silly together.  I am so proud to call her my Mom.  Here we are together last year at her 80th birthday open house.

I am spending the day with her today, first at church, then possibly out to eat (if we can find a place that is not packed) and finally home to colour together. (Aren't adult colouring books such a wonderful invention?)

Thanks for coming by.  I wish you a Happy Mother's Day as well if you fit the category.  And to all, enjoy the rest of the day.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!!!

I am hoping to get into my craft room after some chores are finished and will show you the results tomorrow.

Have a GREAT day!!!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #340 ~ Anything But A Card

Good Morning.  Today starts a new challenge at Little Red Wagon and our hostess is Jan.  And in her own words "It's the challenge we all love to hate" ~ ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  I don't hate this challenge though.  You can do some much ~ altered items, gift bags, mixed media canvases ~ and my personal favourite, scrapbooking.

I was able to work on my Project Life album a bit this weekend and this is one of the layouts that I did.  I try to keep them simple because otherwise I totally overthink the concept.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have done and join us for our Anything But A Card challenge.  Make it fun!!!

Have a great Wednesday.
