Little Red Wagon Challenge #396 ~ Monster Mash

It's Wednesday again.  I think the weeks are speeding up because it rolls around faster than ever.  But it is time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Jan is our hostess this week and her challenge is called MONSTER MASH. She wants to see us use a monster on our projects.

Here's mine.  I used a stamp set, yes, once again, from Kraftin Kimmie called Darling Dragons.  I hope a dragon qualifies as a monster but I gotta tell you these are the cutest dragons or monsters I have ever seen.  Images are coloured with Copics. Patterned paper is My Favorite Things.  Gumdrops are Your Next Stamp.  Ribbon and fiber from my stash.  A cute tag to add to a gift.

Grab the monsters in your wagon, whether scary or cute, and link up a project of your own at Little Red Wagon.  Looking forward to your entries.

Have a great Wednesday.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #395 ~ Unicorns and Rainbows

Hey there.  It's a new Wednesday and a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  I am your hostess this week and my theme is "Unicorns and Rainbows" ~ I want to see one or the other or both on your projects.  When I hear this phrase it always makes me think happy thoughts and smile and I hope it does the same to you.

My card features the stamp set actually called Unicorns and Rainbows by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  The images are coloured with Copic markers.  Background is distress inks.  Patterned paper is Echo Park Fine and Dandy.

So why not dig into your little red wagon of supplies and join me with a project featuring unicorns and rainbows?  You have until next Tuesday evening where I will be posting my top picks at the Little Red Wagon blog.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for coming by.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #394 ~ You Are My Sunshine!

Good morning.  Welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Sandy and her challenge is entitled YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE ~ she wants to see suns on your projects.

Truthfully I have had "one of those weeks" where I feel like a hamster on a wheel and would like some time to get off.  Needless to say, crafting has not been part of this wheel so this is a "recycled" card from a sunshine challenge.  Stamp set is from Stampin' Up called Hello.  Patterned paper is Doodlebug Springtime.  Perfect card to send a little note to brighten some one's day.

So why not grab your craft supplies and link up your sun projects this week at Little Red Wagon? You have until next Tuesday.

Thanks for dropping by today.  There is a long weekend coming up and I am hoping to find some time to get off the hamster wheel and spend in my craft room.  We will see you back here soon.

Have a great day!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #393 ~ Punny Projects

Hello. Another week has gone by and it's another Wednesday.  Time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Kate is our hostess and she wants us to use a pun on our projects.  This was a tough one for me and I wasn't even sure if I knew what a pun was let alone having a stamp or something I could use to make a project.  So first thing I did was look up the definition of a pun ~

a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there
are words that sound alike but have different meanings

Not really helpful.  So I looked up some examples...

A horse is a very stable animal.
Time flies like an arrow.  Fruit flies like a banana.
What is the difference between a conductor and a teacher? The conductor minds the
train and a teacher trains the mind.

Still nothing.....so whether it is an actual pun or not it is a play on words about animals and this is what I did.  Stamp is from Kraftin' Kimmie (what a surprise...LOL!) called A Purr-fect Day,  She is coloured with Copic markers and uses paper from My Favorite Things Sweet Celebration.  Embellishments are gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.

Thanks, as always, for dropping by.  I hope to see your Puny Projects at Little Red Wagon this week.  Have a great day!!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #392 ~ Time to Celebrate

Morning peeps!  It's a new Wednesday and a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Mandy and she wants us to celebrate ~ she wants to see any celebration themed project.  That encompasses a lot ~ birthdays, holidays, graduations, baby and wedding showers ~ well, you get my point.

I chose to make an anniversary celebration card as May is the month of anniversaries in our family ~ my son and daughter-in-law celebrate six years on May 8th and my parents are celebrating 60, yep, 60 years of marriage on May 11th.  I used a stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Sweet Humming Bird and coloured the hibiscus and humming bird with my Copic markers and fussy cut them (There is a matching die too but I don't own it.) Patterned paper is from My Favorite Things Sweet Celebration pack.  The sentiment is an older one from Michaels $1.50 bin embossed in white and added to a fish tale die from Your Next Stamp.  Your Next Stamp gumdrops add the finishing touch.

Glad you could drop in today.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon and check out the celebration projects of the other girlfriends.  While you are there why not link up a project of your own?

Have a great day!!
