Little Red Wagon Challenge #400 ~ Three's Company

Good morning.  It is Wednesday again and time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our theme is THREE'S COMPANY ~ we want to see three of something on your projects.  Easy, peasy one!!

Here's mine ~ a shaker card embellished with three enamel dots.  I tend to group things in three automatically as I like the way it looks :) Stamp and sentiment are from a retired Kraftin' Kimmie set called Monster Mash coloured with Copics.

A close up of the image:

As always, hop on over to Little Red Wagon and check out the girlfriend's projects and link up a project of your own using something x 3.

Thanks for dropping by.  As you read this, I am spending some time relaxing and enjoying our new weekend getaway....even if it is during the week. Here's my view this morning:

Have a wonderful day!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #399 ~ Love You to the Moon and Back

Hello all and happy Wednesday.  Today marks a new challenge at Little Red Wagon and our hostess this week is Mandy.  Her theme is called LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK and while that is one of my favorite sayings and I say it to my grandchildren all the time Mandy's definition for our projects is a little different and broader ~ she wants to see the moon, stars and sky on your projects.

Here's mine.  Truth be told this is a make and take I did with a local scrap book store at Scrapfest, a local scrap booking festival in April.  But it fits the theme perfectly  It uses a set from My Favorite Things called Space Explorer.  I really wanted this set but it keeps selling out as fast as it comes in. Background is distress inks.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the amazing projects the other girlfriends have made and link up a galaxy (sun, moon, stars) project of your own.

Have a great day!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to all Dads, step-Dads, Grandpas, etc.  Enjoy your special day ~ you deserve it!!
This is my Dad and I together at a garden center (with Santa, not me), a hockey game and a baseball game.  Good job I like sports...LOL!! I am grateful for him in my life and all that he does for my family.

I had a few custom orders for Father's Day and wanted to showcase them here.  I used a retired set from Kraftin' Kimmie called Wild and Crazy Guys!  It is a great set for masculine cards and I have used it many times before.  Images are coloured with Copics, patterned paper is from Your Next Stamp For the Boys and enamel dots are from my stash.  I am grateful for both of these wonderful Canadian companies (Kraftin' Kimmie and Your Next Stamp) and they make up the majority of my stamps and craft supplies.

Thanks for dropping in on a weekend.  Hope to "see" you again soon.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #398 ~ Dogs or Cats???

Good morning and welcome back for another new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our theme this week is CATS OR DOGS? Pretty self explanatory ~ we want to see either a cat or dog on your project, maybe even both :)

I am a cat person.  I don't mind dogs that I know but am not too fond of all dogs, probably because I have never owned one.  My card features a cat from the A Purr-fect Day set by Kraftin' Kimmie.  I tired to colour her like a Siamese cat but I thinks she just looks more like a grey spotted one in the end.  The sentiment is on water colour paper, heat embossed in white and then I used distress ink over it.  Patterned paper is Simple Stories Enchanted.

So, why not head over to the Little Red Wagon blog and check out the fantastic inspiration from all of the other girlfriends.  While you are there, how about linking a cat or dog project of your own?

Thanks for dropping by.  Come back on the weekend to see all of the custom orders I have been working on for Father's Day.

Enjoy your Wednesday.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #397 ~ Move It!

Hello.  Another Wednesday is upon us and it is time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This week's challenge is hosted by Brenda and she has called it MOVE IT! She wants to see some movement on your projects ~ wobblers, shakers, spinners, sliders, maybe even googly eyes ~ as long as there is some sort of movement.

The card I have to show you is one I made at a class a couple of weeks ago at a local scrapbook store.  However, it has been taken apart and put together again and looks a little different as I did not have all the relevant supplies.  The image is from Your Next Stamp Happy Days Mermaids coloured with Copic markers.  It was the first time I had coloured hair with the R20's and I like how it turned out.

I am taking another class next Monday and can not wait to show that one to you.  It also moves :)

Thanks for dropping by today.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a project of your own with some movement.

Have a wonderful day!!
